Time flies and before I knew it 4 months have past! I look at my weekly schedule and no wonder – even my eating brakes and shower time is in there, just to make sure I have time for thatJ. My volunteering experience has been absolutely amazing so far! I adore all my kids in the day-care and the colleagues are adorable and have made me feel like home – I go with a happy smile to work and return with an even bigger smile.

The part in my project I didn’t feel secure about in the beginning was teaching languages. But I have to say, I am enjoying it! My classes usually are one to one what gives me the privilege to pay full attention to my student and work in pace he requires. I really hope that at the end of the project my students will be able to communicate with me in German J



I am happy to say that the relationships between the volunteers are great and we spend some quality time together in the house and outside. I have managed to combine my duties with after work activities, found time to travel and get to know this country, met a lot of amazing people outside the project. While writing this I am very tired, and it’s the middle of the week in the middle of the day – and there is no rest ahead and I absolutely love itJ

El tiempo vuela y cuando me di cuenta ya habían pasado 4 meses. No me extraña porque cuando miro mi agenda tengo incluso anotadas mis pausas para comer y ducharme, solamente para asegurarme de que tenía tiempo para hacerlo. Mi experiencia como una voluntaria hasta ahora está siendo tremenda. Me encantad absolutamente todos mis niños del jardín y las compañeras son muy amables, me hacen sentir como en casa. Voy al trabajo con una sonrisa y vuelvo con una más grande.Letón



La parte del proyecto sobre la cual no me sentía segura era la enseñanza de los idiomas, pero tengo que admitir, lo disfruto. Mis clases son normalmente individuales por lo que me permiten prestar atención a las necesidades de mis alumnos. Realmente espero que al final del proyecto pueda comunicarme con mis alumnos en alemán.


Me alegre a decir que las relaciones entre los voluntarios son muy buenas y pasamos buenos momentos juntos dentro la casa y fuera. He sido capaz de combinar mis responsabilidades con mis aficiones, he encontrado tiempo para viajar y conocer este país, he conocido gente aparte del proyecto. Mientras escribo me noto muy cansada, es mediodía en la mitad de la semana y no veo cerca tener tiempo para descansar – me encanta esto !



Laiks lido un pirms es spēju attapties, jau ir paskrējuši 4 mēneši. Es skatos uz savu darba plānu un nav nekāds brīnums, jo tajā pat ierakstīti brīži, kad ēdu un eju dušā – lai būtu droša, ka man sanāks laiks to izdarītJ Mana pieredze kā brīvprātīgajai līdz šīm ir bijusi vienkārši burvīga. Dievinu visus savus bērnus dārziņā un visas kolēģes ir ļoti jaukas un es šeit jūtos kā mājās – dodos uz darbu ar smaidu un atgriežos ar vēl lielāku smaidu.



No sākuma nebiju droša par valodas mācīšanas daļu projektā. Bet jāsaka, ka man patīk. Manas nodarbības parasti ir privātstundas vienam skolniekam, kas man ļauj pievērst īpašu uzmanību skolnieka vajadzībām un ritmam. Tiešām ceru, ka projektam noslēdzoties varēšu sarunāties ar saviem skolniekiem vāciskiJ



Ar prieku varu teikt, ka attiecības starp visiem brīvprātīgajiem ir brīnišķīgas un pavadām kopā jauku laiku gan mājā, gan ārpus tās. Man ir izdevies savienot savus pienākumus ar ārpus darba aktivitātēm, esmu atradusi laiku paceļot un iepazīt šo valsti, esmu satikusi daudz jauku cilvēku ārpus projekta ietvariem. Rakstot šo esmu ļoti piekususi, ir nedēļas vidus dienas vidū – atpūta nav redzama ne tuvumā un man tas patīkJ
