Il mio lavoro in casa Joven.

Il cielo è di un azzurro intenso, il sole comincia a riscaldare la fresca aria del mattino che mi risveglia dall'intorpidimento del sonno.

Per circa 10 minuti cammino per le strade di Barrio Sur, attraverso viali alberati e strade nude, senza protezione dal sole, che sono costeggiate da case e negozietti, uno diverso dall'altro per colore e stile.

Arrivo finalmente a Casa Joven Bien al Sur. Le sue pareti color rosso terra in parte sono giù illuminate dal sole. Entro. Quasi come un rituale si saluta tutti uno per uno con un bacio sulla guancia, ragazzi e adulti.

Lentamente arrivano tutti i ragazzi che non hanno la scuola al mattino, i primi preparano la colazione per tutti, mentre gli adulti riscaldano l'acqua per il mate.

I ragazzi di casa joven hanno tutti tra i 12 e i 17 anni, vengo da differenti quartieri di Montevideo, Cerro, Pedra Blanca, Ciudad vieja, barrio sur, spesso quartieri umili e difficili. Le storie di questi ragazzi sono umili, difficili e complicate, economicamente, familiarmente, psicologicamente.

A volte non è facile sapere come iniziare un contatto con i ragazzi, come relazionarsi con loro, e in questo è utile l'aiuto e l'esempio di tutta la squadra che lavora in Casa Joven, a iniziare da Ana la coordinatrice, passando per la psicologa, l'assistente sociale, gli educatori e la cuoca.

Casa joven è un centro informale, dove l'unica regola per poter partecipare è quella di frequentare la scuola, per questo mattina e pomeriggio si alternano ragazzi diversi, quelli che hanno la scuola al mattino e quelli al pomeriggio.

Nella casa i ragazzi possono partecipare a diversi laboratori, serigrafia, informatica, diritti umani, di scacchi, e stiamo preparando un laboratorio di musica, alcuni facoltativi e alcuni obbligatori.

Nei momenti liberi, i ragazzi giocano a ping pong, a carte o si danno il turno per usare il computer.

Per tutta la mattina Anita prepara il pranzo per tutti i ragazzi, non si dimentica mai di nessuno anche di quelli che sa arriveranno il pomeriggio con un po di ritardo. Così verso le 13.30 più o meno tutti ci sediamo assieme a tavola e mangiamo il delizioso pranzo che ci ha preparato questa fantastica cuoca.

L'esperienza che sto facendo in Casa Joven è quella che speravo di trovare, volevo trovarmi in questo tipo di situazione, e il momenti di apprendimento e gli spunti di riflessione sono molti, sopratutto nei casi in cui il comportamento dei ragazzi esca da quelle che sono le regole che si rispettano nella Casa, che ovviamente sono completamente diverse da quelle che ci sono per strada e gli educatori intervengono, anche se non sempre è facile, parlando con i ragazzi.

Sono veramente contento stare in casa Joven, di integrarmi con i ragazzi e con gli adulti, di aver la possibilità di imparare cose nuove, e di condividere idee e poter dare una mano a questo progetto.

My work at Casa Joven.

The sky is bright blue, the sun begins to warm the cool morning air that awakens me from sleep.

Casa Joven is a informal centerl, where the only rule to participate is to attend school.

In free time, the boys are playing ping pong, cards or take turns to use the computer.

Experience I'm doing in Casa Joven is what I hoped to find, and the moments of learning and insights are many, especially in cases where the behavior of boys goes beyond the rules that are respected in Casa Joven, which are obviously completely different from those that are on the streets and the teachers involved, though not always is easy, talking to the teenagers.

I'm really happy being at Casa Joven, integrate with the children and adults have the opportunity to learn new things and share ideas and to help this project.

Man darbs jauniešu centrā.

Debesis ir gaiši zilas, saule sāk sildīt vēso rītu un pamodina mani no miega.

Pēc apmēram 10 minūšu gājiena pa dienvidu rajona ielām, trīsjoslu avēnijām un ieliņām – kailām, neaizsargātām no saules, kurās sarindojušās mājas un veikaliņi, katrs savā krāsā un stilā, beidzot nonāku Casa Joven. Šīs ēkas sarkanās siena s ir nolupušas un atspīd saulē. Gandrīz kā rituāls ir sasveicināšanās ar visiem, buča uz vaiga, gan jauniešiem, gan pieaugušajiem.

Lēnām sāk nākt jaunieši, kuriem skola sakas tikai pēcpusdienā, tie sāk gatavot sev brokastis, kamēr pieaugušie silda ūdeni savām mate tējām.

Jaunieši šajā centrā ir no 12-17 gadus veci, viņi nāk no dažādiem Montevideo rajoniem, bieži pieticīgiem un sarežģītiem rajoniem. Šo jauniešu stāsti ir grūti un sarežģīti: finansiālas, ģimenes un psiholoģiskas problēmas.

Dažkārt nav viegli izzināt, kā uzsākt kontaktu ar šiem pusaudžiem, ka attiekties pret viņiem. Tādēļ noderīgs ir Casa Joven komandas darbs, tā palīdzība un sniegtie piemēri, sākot ar koordinatori Annu, kas sadarbojas ar psihologu, sociālo darbinieku, skolotājiem un pavāru.

No rīta un pēcpusdienā nāk dažādi jaunieši, jo uz skolu šeit iet maiņās.

Šajā centrā jaunieši var iesaistīties dažādās nodarbībās, datoru kursos, cilvēktiesību nodarbībās, spēlēt šahu un pašlaik veidojam mūzikas nodarbības.

Brīvajā laikā jaunieši spēlē galda tenisu, kārtis vai uz maiņām izmanto datoru.

Visu rītu pavāre Anita gatavo pusdienas, nekad neaizmirst nevienu, pat tos, kas ierodas ar kavēšanos. Apmēram 13:30 mēs visi sēžamies pie galda un baudām gardas pusdienas.

Pieredze, ko gūstu Casa Joven ir tas, ko vēlējos no šī projekta. Mirkļi, kad varu ko apgūt un gūt ieskatu ir daudz, jo īpaši, kad jauniešu uzvedība pārkāpj centra noteikumus, kuri krasi atšķiras no likumiem, kas valda uz ielas. Tad, iesaistoties skolotajiem, tiek runāts ar šiem jauniešiem un tas nav vienkārši.

Esmu patiesi priecīgs strādāt Casa Joven, integrēties jauniešu un pieaugušo vidū, priecīgs par iespēju mācīties jaunas lietas un dalīties idejās, lai palīdzētu šim projektam.
