ESPAÑOL:

Me enteré de la oportunidad de participar en S-LAROPA por medio de AUDELE, a la cual llegué por medio de Facebook.
Entré a la pagina de Audele y me enteré de la existencia del intercambio, y para poder participar se tenía que mandar una carta de motivación para que te seleccionen.

Como la idea de un intercambio así me interesó, mande la carta y unas semanas después me enteré de que había sido uno de los seleccionados.
Ahí me sentí un poco raro, porque no sabía mucho de que se trataba el intercambio y me empecé a informar y me enteré de muchas cosas. También enseguida nos empezamos a contactar con los que iban a ser mis demás compañeros uruguayos que participaban y a preparar nuestra presentación.
En las sesiones previas, fue todo muy positivo, me hice nuevos amigos y además me divertí mucho cuando preparábamos la presentación del país, porque decidimos ensayar bailes, y recaudar fondos vendiendo comida etc.
Me siento muy contento porque mismo dentro de nuestro grupo conocí personas increíbles, y fue un grupo la verdad muy lindo ya que todos nos llevamos bien y no tuvimos nunca ningún problema.
Además de todo nos tocó una líder genial, Marta, con la que tuvimos todos los participantes una relación muy buena en todo momento, porque además de desempeñar su rol de líder, todos la consideramos como una más de nosotros.
Durante el intercambio me sentí muy bien desde que comenzó a pesar de que al principio todos estábamos más callados porque no nos conocíamos tanto, pero no duró mucho ya que en el primer ómnibus que nos tomamos todos juntos, ya empezamos a interactuar con los demás compañeros extranjeros y nos terminamos haciendo muchas amistades.
No hubo en todo el intercambio alguna actividad que no me gustó, ya que todas tuvieron algo especial, quizás si algunas actividades menos divertidas que otras, pero en general el programa siempre fue interesante.
De las cosas que mas disfruté fue el poder mostrarle a otras culturas nuestra propia cultura, y a su vez aprender de las demás y ver cuántas diferencias tenemos. Disfruté mucho el poder haber hecho nuevos amigos, y de conocer gente de otras partes del mundo; así como también disfrute de el día de playa, que fue por lejos, el mejor. Y como ya dije cada actividad fue disfrutable porque siempre había algo nuevo para hacer.
Sin duda el intercambió cumplió con mis expectativas, antes de participar no me imaginaba que iba a ser algo tan productivo y a su vez tan divertido, pero me sorprendió mucho porque después no me quería volver. Por eso recomiendo esta experiencia a otros jóvenes, porque es una experiencia única que nunca voy a olvidar, y en la que me sentí muy bien y cómodo en todo momento.
Creo que los organizadores de este tipo de experiencias están haciendo algo muy productivo ya que es una experiencia única e irrepetible y realmente vale la pena participar de ella!.

I heard about the opportunity to participate in S-LAROPA through Audele, which came through Facebook.I entered to the website of Audele and I first informed me about the exchange, and that if you wanted to participate you had to send a letter of motivation for you to be chosen.The idea of an international echange was interesting for me then I sent the letter and a few weeks later I realized that I was one of the selected participants.Then I felt a little weird, because I didn’t know that much about the exchange, so I began to inform me and I learned many things. I also immediately started to contact those who would be my other colleagues in the trip.The previous sessions where quite positive, I made new friends and I had a lot of fun when we prepared the presentation of the country, because we decided to try dancing, and raise funds by selling food, etc..I am very happy because in our own group I met amazing people, it was a very nice group and we all get along with each other, and never had any problems.
And also we had a great leader, Martha, with which all participants had a very good relationship, because apart from playing his role as a leader, all of us considered her as one of us.During the exchange I felt really good since it started, even though at the begin we all were kind of shy because we did not know much each other, but did not last long because in the first bus that we all took together, we began to interact with other colleagues foreigners and we ended up doing a lot of new friends.There was not an activity in the whole exchange that I didn’t like, because all were special, maybe there were some activities less fun than others, but overall the program was quite interesting.The thing that I enjoyed the most was probably the fact that we could get to know another cultures and to be able to show our own culture, while learning from others and see how many differences we have. I enjoyed that we could also made new friends, and meet people from other parts of the world. As well as enjoying the day at the beach, which was by far the best. And as I said each activity was enjoyable because there was always something new to do.No doubt the exchange met my expectations, before the exchange I didn’t know it was going to be such a productive and funny experience, and it is surprising because the last days I did not want to return. Therefore I recommend this experience to other young people, because it is a unique experience I will never forget, and in which I felt good and comfortable at all times.I think the organizers of these experiences are doing something very productive as it is an exellent experience and it is really worth to get involved with it!.
