“Being on EVS volunteers is a unique experience, as I expected! The fact that I live in a country so far from my homeland, make my EVS more interesting and gives me the opportunity to get to know pretty well a culture with a different mentality. Different, but so close at the same time!

Teaching Greek to motivated Uruguayans, drinking mate at the Rambla with local friends that I made, learning and practicing dancing tango in the Uruguayan Milongas until the dawn and speaking Spanish (of Uruguay) that I started to learn here.
